Abstract

In developing countries, the rapid growth of urbanization causes the urbanization of the poor. Poverty is a multidimensional phenomenon that, as a result of discrimination and social and economic inequality, the spatial structure of different areas of the city has clear and obvious contradictions. The spatial analysis of these areas determines the degree of deprivation of different areas and determines the priority of measures to improve the standard of living. In this regard, the aim of the current research is to investigate the existing inequalities and show poverty and segregation in the urban blocks of Ardabil, emphasizing physical and educational indicators during the years 2013 and 2015, as well as investigating the factors affecting organization. These are phenomena. The research method is quantitative and its approach is descriptive-analytical. The data used in this research were prepared from the Iranian Statistics Center and are related to the census of 2010 and 2015 in Ardabil city. In order to show the physical and educational status of the required data in the form of a map, it was analyzed using geographic information system, GeoDa software and spatial separation analysis. For this purpose, the degree of segregation of several groups between the upper, middle and lower classes of the city was measured first. Then, to analyze the distribution pattern of educational and physical poverty, Moran's autocorrelation index, the average of the nearest neighborhood unit, the general G statistic and the K-Ripley test were used. Also, based on Moran's autocorrelation model, the pattern of poverty distribution in Ardabil city has a concentrated and cluster structure. The distribution of urban poverty clusters shows that the largest urban poverty cluster is concentrated in the northwest and southeast parts of Ardabil city, on the other hand, urban poverty clusters are concentrated in the suburbs of Ardabil city. which indicate the need to pay more attention to the neighborhoods located in these blocks.
