Abstract

One of the major demographic issues in general in the world is the ncluding third world countries, is the issue of population aging and its consequences. At present, Iran is also experiencing the stage of transition of the age structure of the population from youth to old age. Although the elderly population has a small share of the country's population, but the growth rate of the elderly population compared to the overall population growth and the increase in the number and share of the elderly population 60 years and older in the coming years need to pay attention to this group. Emphasizes. This research was descriptive in terms of data collection method and survey in terms of implementation method. In the qualitative section, using the approach of content analysis, the dimensions and components of urban policy and the problem of changes in population structures, with emphasis on population aging trends were identified and the researcher used a qualitative method to design a model for urban policy. In a small part to validate the statistical population of this study, the managers and senior experts of urban planning in Tehran were that using Cochran's equation, the number of samples was evaluated equal to 175 people. Smart-PLS3 and SPSS22 software were used to analyze the research findings. The results showed that the urban policy model is valid and the results showed that the situation of urban planning considering the aging trends of the population with an average of 2.18 is significantly lower than the average (3).
