Abstract

The city of Yasuj is one of the cities that after the Islamic Revolution has been heavily influenced by the policies of the government, and especially since 1365, its population and its area have increased considerably, and since this city is on the land of agricultural lands and natural sprats Has been devoted to urban construction, with the impact of government actions, a large part of agricultural land and forests around the city. Therefore, the aim of this research is to investigate the horizontal development of Yasuj city and its effect on the arable lands. The applied method is analytical-descriptive and in terms of its purpose. Data requirements are obtained using the library-documentary and field-based methodology. For analysis and drawing of data obtained from Excel and GIS software has been used. In this regard, in order to study the evolution, development and growth of Yasuj city during recent decades, the most important factors and mechanisms of government actions that have been effective in the physical expansion of Yasuj city have been identified and using the Shannon entropy model and Moran coefficient Uneven growth and sprawl of the city were determined. The output of Moran Mobin analysis is that the distribution of population is more dispersed than the area of the Yasuj area, indicating that the population of Yasuj is distant from the polar pattern and spatial distribution and is distributed sporadically. On the other hand, considering that the amount of entropy of Shannon Shahriarsouj in 1365 was equal to 1106/1, the closeness of the entropy value to a maximum of 20.081 represents sprawl growth (sprawl), the physical expansion of the city. At the same time, given that the amount of entropy for the year 1390 is equal to 1,207.1, this indicates that during the recent years, the physical expansion of the city has become more dispersed and non-condensed.
