A prospective Study of the Effective Factors on Geograghical Distribution of Mortality in Khouzestan by Fahp-GIS

Author

Abstract

Mortality is one of the main elements in planning the health of each community. This paper provides an evaluation for the factors affecting the geographical distribution of mortality for 24 cities of Khuzestan in 2012 by Arc-GIS software and a hierarchical analysis. The methodology includes the use of Fuzzy numbers for paired comparison of options and the use of geometric mean for finding priorities and indices. If the calculation of the indices by the triangular Fuzzy numbers is done, the totalindices will be accessible in GIS environment. Based on the statistics from Khuzestan’s census organization in 2012, chronic conditions and unintentional injuries are among the main causes of deaths from cardiovascular disease. The obtained data in this regard show that the highest rate of cardiovascular disease was observed in Ahvaz(0.06), such cities as: Ramhormoz , Behbahan , Dezful and Abadan were the second,  cities like Izeh , Masjed Soleyman , Shush tar , Shush , Shadegan and Khoramshahr  were the third and the rest were plaed at the last position in the scale
